He holds a Degree in History from Deusto Niversity (2011) and a PhD in History (2017) from the UPV/EHU, funded by the Program for Training Non-doctoral Research Personnel of the Basque Government. Degree in Economy from the UPV/EHU (2017). He is a member of the consolidated research group “Biography & Parliament” and a researcher in the Documentation and Research Center of the Economic Agreement and Foral Treasuries of the UPV/EHU. He develops his research activity in the area of public finances, and has produced outstanding works on the Economic Agreement, fiscal federalism and international taxation. Since the 2018/2019 academic year he has combined his research work with teaching activities in the Law Faculty of the Gipuzkoa Campus of the UPV/EHU. He made a stay as a pre-doctoral researcher at the Université de Lausanne (2016) – with economic support from the Basque Government’s Egonlabur program – and attended the European Political Economy and Finance programme at the London School of Economics (2017), funded by the Foral Deputation of Biscay. He won the Eurobasque prize in 2018 as the coordinator of a research project focusing on European taxation.
